Madilyn and Grandma Suzie!

Visit back home!

Madilyn and I went to Dad's house this weekend. It was fun.

Saturday was beautiful! We went to janet's restaurant for breakfast with Suzie! YUMMY! Then off to the ball park for a double-header. Devan was playing. He is so grown up. I cannot believe that he is 16. Then Amber, Paige and I were off to the Scrapbook Store. Where I promptly bought a lot of paper. LOL! Then back to dad's house. He made meatloaf, potatoes, carrots, and corn. It was so good. All the babies came over. Then today, everyone cam to dad's again. It was great to see everyone. And as usual, I took a ton of pictures! I don't get home nearly as often as I would like...maybe that is why I enjoy it so much!

Happy Easter

We went to Steve's parent's house today for dinner. It was so good. The kids had an easter eggs hunt. Then we took our cupcakes to Embassey. The residents were eating Madilyn up. They loved the cupcakes and loved that she made them and that she was there to pass them out. The every last card she gave out, the older gentleman kissed her hand. It was kind of funny because she thought it was gross. So we explained to her that that was his was of saying thank you! LOL!

So today was kind of a big day, just because we had quite a bit to do. Madilyn and I made abotu 60 cupcakes to take to Steve's work. Some of the residents there are neglected by their families. Anything I can do to help, I do. I hope that if I am ever in that position, someone would take pity on me and do nice things for me, ya know.


Also, Madilyn's school decorated cards for the elderly residents at the nursing home. So we stuffed those into envelopes. We will take the cupcakes and the cards to the nursing home tomorrow after we have dinner at Steve's parents house tomorrow.

Then, we decorated eggs. We didn't buy the traditional egg coloring kit this year. It was the tie-dye one. Madilyn had a blast doing it, but man was it messy!

WHY ARE SOME PEOPLE SO IRRITATING?

Ever have those days that no matter what anyone says or does, it annoys the piss outta you? I am apparently having one of those! Can't wait for the day to end and start all over tomorrow.

Yeah, It's been a while! Things have been busy!

I've managed to somehow hurt my back. The Chiropractor seems to think that I have a herniated disk. I will be having an MRI soon. YEEHAW!(said with much sarcasm)

We got to register Madilyn last week for Kindergarten. It is bittersweet. I cannot believe she is going to be 5 in a couple of months. That is crazy! It seems like yesterday she was a 3 pound little baby!

Last night, Steve and I finally got to use one of his Christmas presents. Tickets to a Larry the Cable Guy Show! It was AWESOME!!!!!! I don't think we've laughed that hard in a really long time. Madilyn got to spend the night with her gramma and papa. Of course she loved that!

Madilyn's preschool class, well her whole school actually, is making cards for Steve residents for Easter. They are cute and seem to be enjoying it!
