Today is a big day! We went to see the Nutcracker Ballet. It was a lot of fun and we all had a great time. But it's also Papa's 71st birthday!!!! So then we went to dinner at Lonestar and had them sing to him!

This is Madilyn's friend Harrison. He is a cutie. He called her the blonde Madilyn because he has a sister named Madeline that has brown hair. When he saw madilyn in her dress, he was speechless. They were so cute.

Madilyn's Holiday Program

Yesterday was the school holiday program. I am so proud of Madilyn. She was so brave. She sang her loudest and said her lines loud. And she looked beautiful!!!!

Wow!

A whole month! That is crazy. Things have been super busy! Madilyn has had a double ear infect for the last two weeks and missed several days of school.

We've started girl scouts also. We had our first outing to the Ice Skating ring. It was fun. There were some hickups, but we made it through. And we will start selling cookies in January.

On thursday, I had my full thyroid removed. That was interesting and I'm pretty sure that I don't like it!!!! Not to mention, I HATE being away from Madilyn and I HATE being in the hospital even less. Thankfully, I only had to stay over night.

Madilyn and I are on the mend. Hopefully, Steve won't get sick!
