On my way home from work on Friday, I saw the most amazing sight. I stopped and asked the homeowners if I could take a picture. Thank you to all those who have fought for my freedom!

KVMS School Picnic

05-22-09 Today was the picnic for Madilyn's Preschool. She had a blast playing at the park with her friends and saying goodbye to her teachers. Next year, she will start Kindergarten in a different town than her preschool was in. So, here's to keeping old friends...and making new ones in the future.

Ballerina in training!

Madilyn started taking ballet classes for the summer. She is absolutely adorable in her leotard and she LOVES it. She will be performing at the Strawberry Jazz Fest in Kankakee June 7, 2009. I'm just as excited as she is.

I found out today that Heaven gained an angel. Ruthann, a scrap friend of mine passed away last week. She was only 39 years old. She will be sadly missed.

On April 20, we went to the Circus at the Kankakee County Fairgrounds. It was a lot of fun. As usual, we didn't get a family photo, but this is good enough! Madilyn got picked out of the crowd to have her face painted for free as a "sample". She's our beautiful Butterfly!!!!

Today was Madilyn's last day of Preschool. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! Yes, I'm a little bit upset by that! LOL! But I made a few gifts for her teachers. The calendars are magnetic and on cookie sheets. The months are interchangable. The can is an altered paint can for miss alicia...so she can save some cash!
